Monthly Thai Herbal Compress Massage Clinic!
Offering Thai Herbal Compress Massage in 30 minute mini-sessions at a discounted rate to help make this gentle and powerful healing treatment more accessible.
Thai massage is traditionally done on a mat on the floor instead of on a table. The techniques have been called “lazy man’s yoga” because it almost feels like the therapist is doing yoga TO you. There is a natural gentle rocking that happens with the rhythmic compression and the herbal compress delivers moist heat infused with the herbs to reduce inflammation and melt away stuck fascia.
Clients will remain clothed and are encouraged to wear loose fitting clothing that is dark in color to prevent staining from the turmeric and ginger in the compress.
Kirstin will be setting up at Mishana Yoga in East Falls monthly in alignment with the New Moon Sound Bath Massage Event in the same location.
