About Integrative & Deep Tissue Massage:

Integrative massage is a personalized journey to wellness. This holistic approach blends various techniques to not only soothe muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia, but also somatically nurtures your mental and emotional energy.

Every session is tailored specifically to you, taking into account your unique needs and goals. Whether you're seeking relief from physical tension or a deeper connection to your well-being, integrative massage offers a harmonious blend of expertise and intuition to support your path to health. Be prepared to breathe deeply and leave it all on the table.

Deep tissue massage is much more than just a  “hard massage.” In contrast to only relaxing muscles, the specific lengthening of muscles and tendons offers many benefits such as increased joint movement, quicker injury recovery, better posture, as well as feelings of overall well-being.

About Thai Massage:

Thai Massage is a gentle yet powerful healing treatment, traditionally performed on a mat on the floor but easily adapted for a table session. Often referred to as "lazy man's yoga," this technique feels like a soothing yoga practice that you don’t have to work for. With gentle rocking to guide your body into relaxation, soft stretches, and precise acupressure to release energy lines (Sen Lines), your body is encouraged to do what it does best – heal itself.

Experience the added benefit of herbal compresses, delivering moist heat infused with healing herbs to reduce inflammation and melt away tension in your fascia. This unique combination revitalizes your body and mind, leaving you refreshed and rejuvenated.

When scheduling, please only choose Add-Ons from the following list. Most sessions will include Tok Sen.

  • Tok Pua Lai Sen = Tapping to chase energy lines

Tok Sen is a healing practice which evolved in Northern Thailand amongst the spiritual healers native to that region, and has now become part of the larger Thai Medicine tradition.

Using the wooden instruments , the “kwan” (hammer) and “lim” (chisel or pestle), a gentle tapping along the affected sen lines helps to free up stuck energy in the body showing up as sore muscles, joint pain, pinched nerves, paralysis or stiffness, and diseases associated with the sen lines. As a massage therapist, I am not authorized to diagnose any of these conditions, but can use Tok Sen to contribute to the supportive treatment and palliative care of any such malady.

Tok Sen is seen as efficacious in accessing and treating the deeper levels of the body, traveling through the dermis and subcutaneous tissue, along the sen lines, and down to the bones and the organs.

  • Ingredients: Plai, Turmeric, Kaffir Lime, Lemongrass, Ginger, Pandan, Crtoton Joufra Roxb, Tamarind Leaves, Camphor, Sea Salt.

When you include this Add-on during your session, you will get to take the compress home with you. These can be used 3-5 times before they should be retired. So you can bring your compress back with you for future sessions, or use it at home between sessions. This is available on the Add-On menu for 1 or 2 compresses per visit.

Luk Pra Kob, Thai Herbal Compress, have been used for thousands of years alone or in combination with massage treatments bringing balance to the mind, body, and spirit. Plant medicine has been influenced by many traditions, including Ayurveda and Chinese medicine.

The compresses are comprised of traditional Thai herbs, or even local herbs boasting many medicinal qualities. They are used as a highly effective tool to free blocks along the sen sip (the 10 main Thai energy channels).

The compresses are steamed to activate their medicinal properties. They are typically applied directly to the skin but can be used over dark clothing as they will stain.

The heat and steam deeply permeate the skin, relaxing the muscle, tendons, and other soft tissue. As the skin’s pores open, the blood vessels dilate and begin stimulating blood flow infused with the medicinal herbal properties. This results in a rebuilding and nourishing to the applied areas.
